Restaurant Lewis in Antwerp for Thomas Snijders: pale plastered walls, tall windows, dark banquettes and a brick counter by the open kitchen.
For Thomas Snijders, we designed the interior of restaurant Lewis in Antwerp. The tall windows with their white frames bring plenty of daylight into the dining room, softly caught by plastered walls in a warm, light tone.
Against this calm backdrop, black chairs, dark banquettes and tables are set out in a tight rhythm. On the kitchen side, a brick counter links the dining room to the open kitchen, under a dark ceiling with a simple track system for the lighting. A pink neon signature gives the room a playful touch of its own.
It is an interior that needs few words: clear in its structure, with a few outspoken accents that define its character.
