Showroom and office for design agency Van Craen in Brussels: raised display surfaces in red MDF with terracotta linseed oil and white, mobile backdrops.
For over twenty years, Julie and Elise Van Craen have been running a design agency from an old factory in Brussels, representing a number of interior collections in Belgium and Luxembourg. Their collections are characterised by their strong character and honest story.
Due to the diversity of the collections and ever evolving trends, we chose a minimalist presentation system with raised display surfaces. This allows clients to sit next to a piece and easily view and touch it. The displays are made of red MDF treated with terracotta coloured linseed oil. The material was rigorously extended to other interior elements, adding warmth and consistency.
White, mobile backdrops make it possible to create backgrounds as desired, to better isolate design pieces from their surroundings.
