The brief

Alongside interiors, the studio designs its own objects. Mixture brings that search for geometry, colour and material together in a small collection.

In this project

  • Floor lamps made of coloured tubes
  • Aluminium side tables
  • Low seats with leather cushions

Mixture is a series of the studio's own objects: floor lamps made of coloured tubes, aluminium side tables with lacquered tops and low seats in black leather.

What returns in our interiors, a predilection for geometry, structure, colour and light, takes a form of its own in Mixture. The series was designed in the studio in Kortrijk and starts from simple basic shapes: the cylinder, the tube and the plane.

The floor lamps are built from bent tubes in terracotta and deep blue that stand in the room like lines. The side tables combine a brushed aluminium cylinder with a red lacquered top or a black top. The low seats rest on an aluminium plinth with loose cushions in black leather.

Together they show how the studio works: function first, followed by a surprising angle that makes an ordinary object personal. You will find the same approach in the bespoke furniture we draw for hospitality and homes.
